Our Story
Being an immigrant living in the Bay Area, I ended up with two homes-- the one that I was raised in, and the one that I now live in.
I am from Nazareth, which is a bustling, beautiful, historic city. During a visit long ago, I was talking to a childhood friend of mine who creates jewelry. He showed me a ring he made that was essentially a wearable form of the city that raised us. I purchased a copy, and upon returning to San Francisco, I realized that this ring allowed me to share my home of Nazareth with my friends and family here in California. With a design that was entirely comprised of historic buildings and locations in Nazareth, this piece of jewelry served as a commemoration. This gave me the idea of creating the San Francisco Skyline ring.
I wanted to portray how special San Francisco was to me by creating a shareable, wearable celebration of the most vibrant, unique, and community-oriented city in the United States. I went to my good friend Jeremy Fish, an artist who has used his work as a platform to inspire and uplift countless of San Francisco’s community-members over the past decade. He and I worked together on a design project to create a ring that encapsulates the heart of San Francisco in the same way that mine from Nazareth does. We were able to curate a piece that has 12 of the most key components of San Francisco including: COIT Tower, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Lombard Street, etc...

With the city’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself more inspired by the spirit and strength of San Francisco and decided that it was finally time to share our idea with my fellow community members. The San Francisco Skyline ring serves as my commemoration of the best city in the United States and I am thrilled to be sharing it with you all.
